SUKPORI'S FARM
Hello, this is the Lee family!
We currently live in Seoul, South Korea though we spent a considerable amount of time in Philadelphia, USA also. During the weekends and breaks, we visit our grandparents at their farm in Sukpori, Gyeongido. Through this website, we hope you learn more about our family's work involving the environment and agriculture and our goals of community impact.
Grandpa & Grandma
They are my grandparents, Youngmi and Chul-young! They are the owners of the farm, starting the whole tradition since 1960! The farm started as 1/5 of the current size and they have expanded the farm to its size for over 60 years now.
Mom & Dad
This is my mom, YoonJung, and my dad, Haelim, who are big supporters of the farm. While dad has his own business, he is a big part of the farm, visiting the farm every weekend. My mom works part-time at the farm, helping in sorting plants and crops.
2 Brothers
They are Taejoo and Sungjoo. Taejoo is currently a freshmen at college and Sungjoo is a sophomore at a high school. This farm holds so much childhood memories that I will never forget.
Me! (Hanjoo)
Save the best for the last... I'm Hanjoo! I am an avid lover of the farm and hope to continue my grandparents' legacy or even expand it globally eventually and becoming a future generation of farmer.
Bakgu (Our dog)!
We can't forget our dog, Bakgu! "Bakgu" is a korean word for total whiteness. Bakgu is currently 2 years old and serves as a greeting manager to anyone who visits our farm!
